A partnership with the South Bend Tribune that provides local arts organizations with free online event listings and expanded arts coverage in a weekly print publication. An annual series that celebrates our community's strongest arts talent. More than $2 million returned to the community through grants that strengthen arts and culture.
Those are the three main pillars of ArtsEverywhere, a $6-million initiative that the Community Foundation launched in the fall of 2004 to help support local arts organizations and the artists they present. Our community is brimming with talent—talent that drives economic growth, draws people together in festive spaces, and expresses the identity of our community through its creativity, diversity, and cultural variety. At the Community Foundation, we believe that when we invest in the talent of our local artists and arts organizations—our dancers, our artists, our actors, our musicians—we invest in our future.
