Exciting Changes for ArtsEverywhere Initiative
As of May 24, 2012, the ArtsEverywhere.com website has changed: The Community Foundation of St. Joseph County has developed a new partnership with the South Bend Tribune’s IntheBend.com, and ArtsEverywhere listings are now part of that site.
Visit IntheBend.com's arts hub and see what you think!
Just like ArtsEverywhere.com, IntheBend.com is an online events calendar that offers arts organizations and artists the same opportunity to post event listings at no cost.
In addition, the Community Foundation will be supporting the Tribune’s new IntheBend print publication, a weekly arts and entertainment publication that also launched on May 24, 2012. A self-contained square tab of 20 pages, this new IntheBend publication will include all calendar listings and content about the upcoming weekend. It will be included in every Tribune each Thursday, and will also be available for pickup throughout the community. This new publication will replace ArtsEverywhere magazine, whose final issue was published in March 2012.
These changes are a response to the feedback that the Community Foundation has received from local arts organizations over the past year, as well as the Community Foundation’s own careful review and reflection. The landscape—especially the digital landscape—has changed significantly since ArtsEverywhere.com and the ArtsEverywhere magazine launched in 2005, and the wealth of new tools available to arts organizations call for a new approach to arts promotion in the community.
If you’re a member of an arts organization and have questions about how to post events to IntheBend.com, please visit the site and look for the "add to our listings" link. You can also contact Jennifer Ellis at the South Bend Tribune.
Thank you for your support of the arts in our community. We’re excited about this new direction!
