$40,000 to Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc. to support the Cottage Grove revitalization project.

$16,626 to Diabetes Association of St. Joseph County to support the establishment of a community-wide Diabetes Education Center.

$15,000 to Life Treatment Centers to support the renovation of the men's half-way house.

$14,913 to the YWCA of St. Joseph County and St. Margaret's House for a collaborative project to enhance services for women in crisis.  The intent was to share services that have proven successful at each others location.  More specifically, the YWCA offered a weekly psycho-educational Self-Discovery Group to the women of Saint Margaret's House in order to guide participants towards the promotion of healthy, positive behaviors.  In turn, Saint Margaret's House provided the women of the YWCA an opportunity to participate in a therapeutic art program lead by their long-time art director.  The overarching goal was to increase referrals at both agencies.

$11,450 to Saint Mary's College Music Department to support the opera performance of Witness.

$7,500 to Habitat for Humanity to support WomenBuild 2005.

$5,000 to Downtown South Bend, Inc. to support the Main Stage at the 2005 Art Beat event.

$5,000 to South Bend Rotary Club to support the construction of the Friendship Station playground.
