The Center for the Homeless was being recognized for excellence in its efforts to break the cycle of homelessness and bring our community's best resources to the service of our neediest citizens. The Center makes this happen through numerous effective partnerships with leading organizations from all sectors in our community.

Using a philosophy of tough love and the structured, step-by-step Homelessness to Home Ownership Continuum of Care, the Center strives to reconnect our homeless citizens who many times have no access to the support systems we depend on from our family and community. The Center has received national recognition for its unique programs and significant accomplishments over the past decade.
