Eligibility*:
- Be a resident of St. Joseph County, Indiana.
- Graduate from an accredited Indiana high school.
- Intend to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study at
an accredited public or private Indiana college or university.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8 OR an SAT score of 1800
out of 2400 (or ACT equivalent if SAT not available) at the conclusion
of the sixth semester. SAT scores are comprised of the highest
math, verbal and written portions of the exam.
* Eligibility Note: Students eligible to receive a tuition benefit
due to their parent(s)/guardian(s) place of employment will not be
considered for this scholarship if the benefit meets or exceeds the
cost of tuition. In addition, family members of those serving on
the scholarship nomination committee or Community Foundation staff
are deemed ineligible (defined as spouses, lineal descendants and
their spouses, siblings and their spouses).
Award:
- Four-year full-tuition scholarship plus book stipend to any Indiana
college or university.
Number:
- Four awards are made annually.
Deadline:
- The first week of January 2011 for the 2010-2011 school year.
Application:
The application form for the 2010-2011 school year will be available
online in early November 2010.
- Applications must be typed and are available for download. You
will need the latest versions of the free
Adobe Reader to complete
the application.
- Additionally, all applicants must submit the Tuition Aid Data
Services Financial Aid Application. This application will
require parental participation. We highly recommend parents
submit this form online at www.tuitionaid.com or paper comes can
be acquired at the guidance office of your school.
